It is hoped to develop a “Stage Pass” scheme over the next year or so. The scheme will be a one or two day course modeled on the existing “Safe Pass” scheme which is geared towards the construction industry. Candidates will cover all the basic points on working safely in a stage environment and, on passing the course, will be issued with a “Stage Pass” It is hoped that in a few years all crew will hold a Stage Pass It is not intended to be exclusive, but simply to standardise skills It is hoped to keep the cost of the course to a minimum so that it will be accessible to everyone.
